A new campaign: Battles of the Forgotten. This campaign features eight scenarios that cover some of the lesser-known civilizations and events in history, such as the Chinese, the Vikings, the Magyars, and the Mayans.
A new AI: The new AI is smarter, more challenging, and more adaptive than the old one. It can retreat and regroup its troops, counter your army composition, and make sensible unit combinations. It also does not cheat on any difficulty level.
New maps: Patch 3.6 introduces 12 new maps to play on, including Acropolis, Budapest, Cenotes, City of Lakes, Golden Pit, Hideout, Hill Fort, Lombardia, Steppe, Valley, Yucatan, and Megarandom.
